The Promise Rainbow

Our Heavenly Father, Abba, and Friend,
will always love us until our time ends.

Comprehending what He has done for us,
is hard to do when He has done so much.

We never asked for what He gave us;
His life through His only Son, Jesus.

He came by His Spirit in human form,
born into the same emotions we’ve worn.

He tried to give us His heart and Spirit,
seeing what we went through to endure it.

Throughout the Bible, before Jesus came,
God had revealed Himself and remains the same.

People in this world we live in today,
insist that God is love, in every way.

Yes, He is the loving God we’ve read of,
but He’ll also see that justice is done!

Followers of Christ will know right from wrong,
while the unbelievers are not as strong.

He is nothing like our Earthly Father.
He will always love you, just as you are.

One argument that the world thinks they’ll win,
only drags them deeper into their sin.

They truly believe their rainbow is right,
while the devil enjoys watching the plight.

God gave us the rainbow, giving His Word,
that He would not flood the Earth, as before.

The flood that Noah had built an ark for
while protecting his family and more.

As everyone exited the ark on dry land,
that is when the promised rainbow began.

Even though Satan’s twisted lies won’t end,
all of God’s children know when it was sent.

Since we know God’s Word is solid and True,
we know this is from His heart to you, too!

Genesis 9:13-15 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and earth.  And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: and I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
