Stand Still

We all live in a fast paced world where everybody is in a hurry to get where they need to go. We want everything right now. We go shopping and pick the fastest lane to check out. When was the last time you took time to stand still to focus on the things that God has done for us.

Exodus 13:13 And Moses said unto the people. Fear not, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.

The Bible has given us a great deal about standing still. God told Samuel to do so:

1 Samuel 12:16 Now therefore stand still and see the great things the Lord will do before your eyes.

When was the last time you stood still to take notice of the things that God has done for you? God wants us to depend on Him. God can make away out of no way all we have to is stand still.

Job 37:14 “Stand still and consider the wonders of God.

When you are feeling stressed stand still. When your back is up against the wall stand still. Take time stand still.
