You are a Shining Star

In order for us to be unified as children of God, the Apostle Paul urges us in Philippians 2:2: “Fulfill my joy that ye be like minded, having the same love, being of one accord,of one mind.”  Have you ever noticed that stars work together and no star is more important than the other? To often when people get involved in a ministry that they think that they are more important than the others that they work with. Last time I read there is no “I” in team. Take note that the stars don’t dispute or argue with each other. Paul tells us in Philippians 2 :14 “Do all things without murmurings and disputings.” The world that we live in is so dark but as children of God. Paul tells us again in Philippians 2:15 “That ye be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke,in the midst of a crooked perverse nation among whom you shine as lights in the world. ” In Matthew 5:14 the Bible affirms this by saying, “Ye are the light of the world a city set on a hill that cannot be hid.” As stars we need to let God shine through us. Remember, you are a star because you are important to God.
