She captured hearts around the nation and wowed the judges week after week as she danced alongside partner, Mark Ballas, during the 19th season of Dancing with the Stars. Now, the season’s runner-up and star of A&E’s Duck Dynasty, Sadie Robertson, is strutting down the runway to premier her new line of formal dresses.
The 17-year-old partnered with designer Sherri Hill to create a line of dresses for the brand’s 2015 Spring Collection, perfect for proms, galas, and other formal affairs. Fans will recall that back in 2013, the TV star launched her first line of “daddy-approved” prom dresses with the designer, which debuted at New York’s Fashion Week.
Her latest line, inspired by the star’s book Live Original, should get Willie’s stamp of approval too. After all, her dad was honored as her wardrobe adviser while she performed on Dancing with the Stars.
“It is just basic modesty,” Sadie told ABC News last season. “It’s out of respect that I ask my dad if it’s okay. I’m a Christian; it comes with me everywhere I go.”
Robertson also spoke with FOX & Friends when collaborating with Hill for the first time. “Me and my mother and my grandma went to Sherri Hill’s place and we all picked out ‘daddy-approved’ length,” she said. “She also added a couple inches to some that we loved but weren’t modest.”
Robertson’s latest designs follow the same standards of modesty, which is refreshing in this era of tight, cropped skirts and plunging necklines.
“It’s gotta be long enough . . .” she laughed while discussing the prom dresses she designed with Hill last year. “Everything modest up here,” she added when speaking about the dresses’ necklines.
In typical Sadie Robertson fashion, she strapped on roller skates and took to the sidewalks of Venice Beach in Los Angeles to model her latest collection, first showing off a polka-dot number, and then kicking off her skates and running barefoot through the sandy shoreline to model a sweeping purple gown.

Great article. Always enjoyed the Duck Dynasty show (well most of the time) and think it’s great that they stand up for Christ and modesty. God bless.
Wheew! It’s so refreshing and such a relief to discover there are still a handful of young Christian celebrities who endorse a dress code of modesty.
PS: The dresses are hottt…my favorite, definitely the green and white polka-dot!
