The Dove Foundation has given this the family seal for all members of the family. This beautiful movie came out in 2012. It is a tender and heartwarming story about true joy and true wisdom that love brings from opening your heart to love and being a gift-giver. This movie is rich with humanity. The love of Christ shines through this letter writer.
It is about a rebellious and troubled teenager—Maggie Fuller. She receives an anonymous letter and she goes out to find the writer. She is amazed how much the writer knows her even though they have never met. She strikes up a friendship with the gentleman who teaches her to love herself and others. It has a simple, but perfect and beautiful message.
Acts 20:34-35 (NIV) — 34) You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions. 35) In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we much help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
