My God is so amazing and outstanding in all things. He is always there to rescue His children and all He asks in return is our love. Our love.
1 John 4:19 We love Him because He first loved us
Yesterday, I was in a bind with some unforeseen circumstances that occurred, and my husband and I were at a loss as to how to handle it. While I was alone in my car, I earnestly asked the Lord for help. I know He is the wisest of all and the only One who can help. He is the only One that will be able to solve problems. He is the only One that cares enough to want to solve our problems. He is my Helper and my Guide at all times. So I prayed and prayed and sat thinking in my car while “listening” for a response from my “Helper.” Within minutes the situation that needed a quick response was resolved- thank You LORD. He provided the wisdom needed to handle the issue that presented itself, and He brought about a solution. I smiled and was so grateful knowing He once again, helped!
Psalm 108:12 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
The real question is – where do we go first when trouble hits? Do we rush to secure help from family or friend? Or do we take our problems and go directly to the Lord to ask Him to send us the help we need? I asked and He solved the problem. Within minutes the situation that needed a quick response was resolved- thank You LORD. He provided the wisdom needed to handle the issue that presented itself, and He brought the answer right to my door.
Psalm 109:4 For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.
When someone betrays us or turns against us, God instructs us not to seek revenge but to seek His face in prayer. He knows how to best deal with any given situation, and we need to hear from Him. We also need to acknowledge Him, revere, love and fear Him, in full accord of who He is, and what He has done for us.
Psalm 111:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
To fear and know and understand the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. As we read and familiarize ourselves with our Father’s words, we begin to see clearly, we hear and understand more readily. He begins to reveal more and more of His Word and commandments. It begins to open “like a budding flower” slowly we water it, and little by little it opens wide until it is fully grown. Thus is our love and our understanding of our Father’s word.
God grants us open invitations on a daily basis to get to know Him and have a personal relationship with Him. If we accept His grace and His love, we will have the inherent ability to overcome and oversee situations that would otherwise have stymied us. We therefore have the best resource of all time available for us and living inside of us—when we accept Him as our LORD and Savior. His promises are real. And His Word doesn’t return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11). When We are standing and aligning with the LORD, we are then victorious through Him and Him alone.
Do you readily accept His Word? Have you walked through the open door and accepted Him into your heart? And if so, have you kept His Word and publicly declared Him as Your LORD and Savior?
Revelation 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
“Father, thank You for Your Son, my LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, and for being available to help me during times of crisis, during hours of deep decisions that need to be made, and for guidng me 24/7, in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
I love the analogy you used Camille of a flower gradually opening its petals. Thus is our understanding of God’s love and His word. May we bloom fully and gloriously for Him as we daily water ourselves in Him.
Thank you, Jennifer.
I actually believe the word is pregnant and keeps growing each time I read it.
Yes, may we all keep growing and opening up to His glorious Word and will.
God Bless you Sweet Friend~
