Heavenly Praise

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty—
the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come. Revelation 4:8

You are worthy, O Lord our God,
to receive glory and honor and power.

For you created all things,
and they exist because you created what you pleased. Revelation 4:11

Have we ever perceived that we can magnify God with our worship? We can engage in heartfelt, glorious worship that surrounds the Lord with a rainbow of praise. This type of heavenly praise and worship will touch the Father’s heart and cause Him to move on earth for us. This is a great service to our Lord and in return He will bless us in ways we cannot think or imagine.

The best type of praise that we can serve our Lord with is coming into His presence in adoration and love. With no ulterior motive other than to worship Him by blessing Him; with our mouths full of praise and hearts full of gratitude.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Romans 12:1

Clarion call to the saints of the world:

Praise Him in the city, praise Him in the country.
Praise Him with grateful lips, praise Him with whole hearts.

Let the heavens and their heavenly hosts declare His glory.
Let the saints of God of proclaim His greatness
from one end of the earth to the other.

Let the harps and the lyres sing of
His praise and glory and love;
He has showered upon man.

Sing Praise! Sing Praise!
Forever sing praise!

So, let us bless our glorious Lord with praise and worship forevermore.
Amen!

  1. If we stop and really consider exactly what He has done for us- what he does foe us every single day, and how truly awesome He is, I don’t know how we can even contain our praises.
Our God is an awesome God! He is worthy, Alleluiah!

  2. So right on, Greg. We get so busy we forget to praise Him. When we are busy, at rest, working, or even playing, it is important to remember that without Him, we could do nothing of value in this world. Thanks for sharing these beautiful words of praise!
