Israel Prepares For The Fulfillment Of Biblical Prophecy

Something occurred in Israel for the first time in 2,000 years, in anticipation of the fulfillment of biblical prophecy. The entire passover sacrifice was performed in a practice run, which has not happened since the destruction of the second temple in 70 A.D.! This was in celebration to Shavuot, a major Jewish festival. It was originally a harvest festival but now also commemorates the giving of the Law (the Torah).

What makes this celebration unique is that it was done not only to make an educational video, but also in case permission is granted to place the altar on the Temple Mount. The transportable altar was completed last year, along with other essentials for the third temple. Up until now there has been no altar, so certain parts of the celebration have had to be omitted. This most recent rehearsal was done in its entirety.

The service was conducted in line with the requirements of Deuteronomy 26:1-3. It included the bringing of first fruits, loaves of bread with the season’s new wheat, and a special holiday offering.  Many parents and children were present along with numerous Levites.

Biblical prophecy in general, and particularly as it concerns Israel, continues to unfold at a rapid pace. Architectural plans for the temple continue. So, how soon will the Jews from all around the world be assembled for the Shavuot in their homeland? According to a graph on a webpage showing the trend of Jews returning to Israel since 1900, it is estimated that there will be over 50 percent of the world’s Jewish population living in Israel at the end of 2015. And, of course, God, could expedite the process in His own timing. He has a divine agenda, and every little detail will unfold according to His plan. Scripture foretells in Jeremiah 23:3, “Then I Myself shall gather the remnant, My flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and shall bring them back to this pasture, and they will be fruitful and multiply…” God is going to assemble His people together from all the nations. The temple will soon be rebuilt. The Jews are preparing for the great day when they will all gather at the third temple.

We are well into the last days prior to the Tribulation. Let’s pray that the Jews will recognize Yeshua as their Messiah, their high priest, “who does not need daily…to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sin, and then for the sins of the people, because this He did once for all when He offered up Himself” (Hebrews 7:27).

Based upon current events are there ways that you believe prophecy could be fulfilled in Israel this year?

  1. It’s always great when we can actually experience prophecy coming true. I am constantly searching for documentaries and articles that give us concrete evidence that what God says will come to pass does.I also like any articles and shows that give evidence of the stories in the Bible. There are so many people out there who don’t chose to believe because in their eyes there isn’t enough proof for them to believe-this lack of Faith is frustrating for me, but it sure helps to actually show a bit of proof to them.

  2. This is so exciting! Prophecy is rapidly being fulfilled before our very eyes!

  3. Thank you, John, for eloquently providing an update of God’s move in His people and in His land. Very well delivered! Maranatha.
