Leaping In Faith: I Surrender It All To YOU!

Leaping in faith is a term that describes the act of trusting God and following His will, even when it seems risky, uncertain, or impossible. It is based on the belief that God is sovereign, good, and faithful, and that He has a plan and a purpose for our lives. Leaping in faith requires courage, obedience, and surrender, but it also leads to joy, peace, and fulfillment.

Here are some paragraphs and Bible verses that illustrate the concept of leaping in faith:

  • Abraham is one of the most famous examples of someone who leaped in faith. God called him to leave his country, his family, and his possessions, and go to a land that He would show him. God also promised to make him a great nation, to bless him, and to bless all the families of the earth through him. Abraham did not know where he was going, how long it would take, or how God would fulfill His promise, but he obeyed and went. By faith, he became the father of many nations and the ancestor of Jesus Christ. His faith was credited to him as righteousness. (Hebrews 11:8-10, Genesis 12:1-4, 15:6, Romans 4:16-22)
  • Peter is another example of someone who leaped in faith. When he saw Jesus walking on the water, he asked Him to let him come to Him. Jesus said, “Come.” Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. He was able to do this because he kept his eyes on Jesus and trusted Him. However, when he saw the wind and the waves, he became afraid and began to sink. He cried out, “Lord, save me!” Jesus reached out His hand and caught him, and said, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?” Peter learned that leaping in faith requires keeping our focus on Jesus and not on the circumstances. (Matthew 14:28-31)
  • Esther is another example of someone who leaped in faith. She was a Jewish girl who became the queen of Persia. When she learned that her people were in danger of being killed by a wicked plot, she decided to risk her life and go to the king to plead for their deliverance. She knew that anyone who approached the king without being summoned could be put to death, unless the king extended his golden scepter to them. She also knew that the king had not called her for thirty days. She said, “I will go to the king, though it is against the law, and if I perish, I perish.” She fasted and prayed and asked her people to do the same. She leaped in faith, and God granted her favor with the king. He extended his scepter to her and listened to her request. He reversed the evil decree and saved the Jews from destruction. Esther’s faith saved her people and fulfilled God’s purpose. (Esther 4:10-17, 5:1-8, 7:1-10, 8:1-17)

These are just some of the many examples of leaping in faith in the Bible. They show us that God is trustworthy, powerful, and loving, and that He rewards those who seek Him and obey Him.

Leaping in faith is not easy, but it is worth it. It is the way to experience God’s presence, power, and promises in our lives. (Hebrews 11:6, Psalm 37:4-5, Proverbs 3:5-6)

Seeking Him daily whether through His Word, prayer, reflection or actions – as we partake in these daily pursuits of Him and His love, it becomes easier to navigate life, with Him in it. It becomes a life force that only He is capable of giving. It becomes part of our “life” period the end!  Except with God there is no END. He is ETERNAL and FOREVER.

When we indulge in the luxury of His love and His promises- who the heck can be against us if God is with us all the days of our lives?

Did you seek Him today? Are you taking a leap of faith on a daily basis? Where are you today in your relationship with Jesus? Are you ready to leap? Jesus is our Friend and much more.  Take a leap and bring it to Him!

Surrender it all to HIM – You will live life because He is LIFE!

“Father, thank You for Your provisions over my life, for Your promises, and for the life You have given me, may I be ever grateful, ever humble and ever seeking You all the days of my life,  I surrender it all to You now and always, in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
