Life’s Refining Fire

For every refining fire, as we walk through life, this is when more of Jesus shines through. The purpose, of each trial, is to bring us closer to Jesus. As we do, we begin to be polished into the beautiful gems He has predestined us to be.

We may not see our inner beauty, but our Heavenly Father does. What makes each period in our lives so special? Jesus is there with us the entire time! In Hebrews 13: 5, we’re told, “… for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”  He always stands true to what He tells us! This is only one of the ways He demonstrates His love for us!

No one said it would not be uncomfortable for us, along the way, but…the encouraging part of the journey is that we are never alone! He wants to make sure we are responding in the correct way. If we do not respond in a constructive way, then another approach is warranted. These will continue until we have learned to, sit up and pay attention, to what God is trying to get across to us. Each positive learning experience will, in turn, exude the beautiful characteristics of Jesus through our lives.

This re occurrence, within our daily spiritual lives, creates a multi-faceted diamond that shines through every created scar. Each facet (scar) represents each trial we have gone through. The ones that shape us into what His ultimate destiny is for us.

I know each of us has had various kinds of weeks. So, as you go about your day, let God polish up any scars you have left over (from the past week) so Jesus can shine through you, His beautiful gem.
