My One True GPS Forever & Always

Deuteronomy 28:1  And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

We’ve all been there, when we’re searching for an address, highway or road and we haven’t a single clue as to where it is. I’m dating myself, but years ago, way before the current “modern age” and before GPS, we would often stop to get or ask for directions, and eventually we’d find the destination in which we were seeking.

When we accept God and believe, our life is a road well-marked, and readily accessible to His throne, and His Kingdom. God places signs and messages along the way, letting us know what will happen if we go off the right path. We have that discerning spirit and the help of the Comforter to guide us accordingly, and lovingly.

Our spiritual connection to Christ allows us to navigate all kinds of roads within the landscape of our spiritual side.  When we adhere to that road ideally our final destination will be eternal bliss with the LORD.  Ultimately, we will truly make the final stop in which we will live forever.

John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

When we keep our feet on the path in which we follow His “signs and messages” we are able to make the proper detours and maneuver so we might find the correct road to turn onto. But this only comes when we stay on course without wavering and with full and complete submission and trust in God.

He is a fascinating and captivating God of love and tolerance, and He truly wants what’s best for us always.  He doesn’t push, or force. He waits for us to accept Him willingly without coercion and doesn’t subject us to dire suffocating stipulations. Instead, He offers us His book of love and guidance, and teaches us how to be successful in our flesh. He also informs us to accept His Son. Thusly, He’ll accept us into His Kingdom.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Trust Him and walk in the full acknowledgement of faith and submission. At times it might be decidedly difficult because the spirit is encased in flesh, and we WILL fall short. However, with a repentant heart and love of God, we will be forgiven, each and every time.

Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Accepting His Word and promises and following Him on a daily basis is rewarding in and of itself. We will always have “signs posted along the way” that will eventually lead us to our permanent home.

Are you paying attention to the signs along the way? Have you read His Book? Is He guiding your path?

Let God be your GPS, I submit, that you will NEVER be lost again!

“Father, thank You for guiding me on my road in life, may I always pay attention to Your directions, and walk the road that leads straight to You and Your door, in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
