God is always willing and able to help us. He desires to help us, but the choice is yours. I can remember wrestling with the Word of God, and it kept me up many nights without sleep. You see fear was my biggest issue as well as not wanting to respond until the Lord reminded me of the promise that He will never leave me nor forsake me.
Are you afraid? What is bringing fear to your mind and heart today? Financial problems? Straying husband, wife or child? Illness? Abuse? Addictions?
No matter what is causing you to feel fearful, remind yourself ,”The Lord is my helper and keeper. I will not be afraid.” He is bigger than any problem. Tell Him about your fears , he sees your tears- let Him fill you with peace . In order to get that peace we must learn to cooperate with His word, you must trust Him, walk in faith, agree with God and speak in agreement with His word. Walk in love, Humble yourself and ask the Lord to help you in everything you do.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
So in the midst of all troubles, let us always remember how dearly we are loved and protected. Even though our circumstances may be different, the Lord is our Keeper and He can be trusted to carry us through all of our life.
Psalm 121 I will lift up my eyes to the mountains- where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip- he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches ;over you- the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm- he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
