Unseen Glory For Those That Love Him

The Unseen Glory

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

In the hustle bustle and at times chaotic world of our daily lives, it’s easy to become ensnared in the tangible and the immediate. We seek satisfaction in what we can see, touch, and understand. Yet, the Apostle Paul, in his first letter to the Corinthians, invites us to consider a profound truth: the greatest wonders are those unseen and unheard, reserved for those who love God.

The Mystery Beyond Perception

Our senses are limited. They bind us to the physical realm, but what of the spiritual? What of the promises of God that surpass our human comprehension? Paul reminds us that there is more to our existence than what meets the eye. Have you ever wondered what God has in store for you beyond this life?

The Heart’s Capacity for the Divine

The heart of man is mentioned as the vessel into which these divine revelations have not yet entered. It begs the question: Are we preparing our hearts to receive what God has prepared? And of course, this important question-Are we nurturing our love for Him, so we may be ready when He unveils His glory to us?

The Assurance of Love

The scripture assures us that these unfathomable blessings are prepared for “them that love him.” It’s a conditional promise, highlighting the moral impetus of love. Love is the key that unlocks the potential of experiencing God’s preparation and spiritual realm while here in this dimension. How are we expressing our love for God in our daily actions?

In conclusion

In a world that often values the material over the spiritual, let us hold fast to the moral truth that what God has prepared for us far exceeds the allure of worldly treasures. Let us strive to love God with all our hearts, for it is through this love that we will one day experience the fullness of His promises.

When we enter into our permanent homes and spend eternity with Him, O’ how we will rejoice in His Presence- oh yes!

“Dear Heavenly Father, we stand in awe of Your promises, those that are beyond our sight and sound. We humbly ask You to open the eyes of our hearts, that we may grow in love for You each day. Prepare us, O Lord, to receive the glorious things You have in store for us. May our lives reflect our love for You, and may we always cherish the unseen wonders of Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.”

May God’s “voice” and Word inspire you to reflect on the depth of His love and the unseen glories He has prepared for those who love to follow Him and love Him.
