Last week, Sid Roth, host of It’s Supernatural, did an exclusive interview with Johnathan Cahn, a Messianic Jewish Rabbi and the author of The Harbinger and The Mystery of the Shemitah. The hour-long, interactive interview gave insightful, and I believe God-inspired, information people are wondering about today.
Rabbi Cahn has been raised up as a Jewish prophet for such a time as this. As God did in the Old Testament, He is again offering mercy and grace. He’s warning His people (and anyone else wise enough to listen) before His mighty judgement falls. Will we listen or close our ears and eyes and plunge head-long into the consequences of our foolish choices? Can we still affect a change?
There are many significant Jewish events converging this September, 2015. A great shaking is coming which will reveal who and what will stand or fall. Just as God describes the ‘real’ Jews as those of Isaac’s seed (Romans 9:6-8), the ‘real’ Christians are those who stand uncompromisingly in God’s Word. America, from the top down, has finally crossed the proverbial line. We have committed acts of desecration against God’s holy things (Israel, marriage, and the lives of infants) similar to Belshazzar’s foolishness in Daniel 5:1-4. We are being called to repentance in the midst of God’s judgements that we have earned. God’s Abrahamic Covenant says that what you do to Israel comes back to you (Obidiah 1:15) and what you sow you reap (Galatians 6:7). Unfortunately, as a nation, we are going to be reaping some pretty intense consequences!
So what do we do in these times of danger and uncertainty?
Rabbi Cahn gave some specific steps to take:
- Repent! Whatever is in your life that shouldn’t be, get it out – now.
- Listen to the Lord, follow His leading, and trust Him.
- Wake up out of spiritual slumber. The time is late.
- Trade your luke warm/status quo for radical obedience to God and love.
- The safest place will be right in the center of God’s will for you. (No need to high-tail it out of town.)
Whether or not you believe, don’t want to believe, or are waiting to come to a conclusion about the signs of the times, they are flashing all around us. We are nearing the end of the seven year cycle of the Shemitah (our Sept. 13) and then begins the Super Shemitah or year of Jubilee, September 23, 2015 – 2016. (Leviticus 25: 8-12) Jubilee is the year, according to God’s pattern, that pertains to restoration in Israel.
There are a myriad of both Jewish and non-Jewish dates and events that are wondrously, miraculously fitting together to create a perfect “storm” so to speak. No one knows for sure what the upcoming days will hold because God is sovereign. He will do what He will do whether they follow patterns of His historic moves or not. Our part is to be ready.
Are you ready for the unknown? Do you have a real relationship with Jesus or is He just an acquaintance? Where have you placed your confidence in these very uncertain times? Will you be ready when the perfect “spiritual” storm blows in? It is approaching quickly.
There will also be a partial solar eclipse on September 13. Some people have said this is very significant in conjunction with the four blood moons, and the pope is meeting with Obama on September 23. I came across a headline that reads, “This Month the UN Launches A Blueprint for a New World Order with the Help of The Pope.” There is a whole lot of other stuff happening which I am not going to take the space to list here.

I chose to leave out the specific dates and details of all the upcoming events so that I could focus on giving people the info on being personally ready. These are certainly exciting times to be aware of God’s moves among His creation. The comforting bottom line is that God has it all under control and we need to stick to Him like never before!!
