1Corinthians 13:4-8” Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. What a superb biblical definition of how the Christian family should operate today. We need to call on the Holy Spirit to supernaturally endow us with these attributes of divine love and the Christian family model will become a strong supernatural institution in this world. The guiding moral force the Lord intended it to be from the beginning of creation.
We shall learn to walk according to 1Corinthians 13:4-8 and the devil will no longer have the opportunity to tear the family apart. The Christ-centered family will be an unstoppable force in the kingdom of God that will witness loudly to a lost and dying world. The world will view the reflection of Christ in a unified family front; it cannot help but come to terms with the risen Savior and acknowledge that he is alive and well on planet earth.
This family witness will draw broken unsaved families into the healing arms of the Lord Jesus himself. Each family walking in patience, endurance, long suffering and rejoicing in the truth. Surely these dynamic lifestyles will turn the failing traditional family unit around and turn it into the God ordained powerhouse it is suppose to be.
