Pornography: Taking Out The Monster
By Joel B.
Rev 21:8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
Pornography is no joke. Hell is no joke. Do you see where I am going with this? The two are intertwined. If you choose pornography it’s going to lead you down a path to hell. Rev 21:8 is clear that those who are sexually immoral will find their way into the lake of fire, which is where the Holy Bible tells us hell is cast into (Rev 20:14).
You may think I’m trying to scare you, and you’re right! I am trying to scare you! Not because I want you to run and hide, but because I care about your future and I want you to pay close attention. The Bible tells us we cannot sit at the table of the Lord’s and at the table of demons. Why? Because they just don’t mix! The Light is pure and darkness cannot comprehend it (John 1:5). Let’s also take a look at 1 Cor 10:21 while we’re on the subject:
1 Cor 10:21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons.
Let’s put things into perspective. Pornography is drinking from the cup of demons, which makes it part of the table of demons. You can’t be at the Lord’s table if you indulge in this sin. It’s simply not possible.
So, say you decide to continue on a path with pornography. Let’s look at what scripture says your future will be like. Keep in mind, you cannot enter heaven according to the book of Revelation, so your only alternative is hell. Hell is:
-A dark place (Matt 8:12).
-Full of torment, to include weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matt 13:50, Mark 9:48)
-Filled with fire and brimstone (Rev 14:10)
-There is no escape and no end (Rev 14:11)
There is hope. Starve it! I’m serious when I say that. Every time you get the urge to look at a pornographic image, tell that inner voice, whether it be yourself or a wicked spirit, to “Starve, In Jesus’ name.” You have to starve the sin or evil spirit until it chokes to death on itself and can no longer stay in or around you.
Another matter to consider is going through a deliverance process with someone experienced in this type of ministry. Sometimes demons come out easy, and sometimes demons fight to stay in. It just depends how they got in, what is giving them access to you, and how much they’ve been fed. If they think they can keep a foothold on you, they will certainly fight to stay in. A deliverance minister will help you root out any spiritual wickedness by helping you identify demonic strongholds in your life. Remember to use Jesus’ name and don’t forget to mention “His Blood”.
While you’re cleaning house, make some adjustments in your life. Start filling the void that pornography used to fill with things of God. Also, remember to put on the full armor of God listed in Ephesians 6, so that you can repel any future attacks.
Friends, I hope to see you all in heaven one day. Let’s pray together:
Dear Lord, we lift up everybody struggling with pornography, in your Name and by your Blood. We pray that every wicked spirit tormenting them with this horrible sin will be rooted out and sent to dry places. We also pray that healing and recovery will take place in the lives of these individuals and those surrounding them. We thank you for answering our prayer. In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
Great article Joel! This reminds me of the movie “Fireproof” where Kirk Cameron’s character had a problem with pornography. That shows an excellent example of what it does to a marriage and the person who is trying to quit. Great topic because a lot of people hide and don’t confront the problem. It is a major sin. God thinks of a person who looks lustily at the opposite sex is like committing adultery.
Susan, I once confronted a demonic spirit and it told me that pornography was its favorite sin. I asked it “why?” It told me “because it’s easy.” The problem with this sin is it’s appealing to the flesh and it can quickly become a stronghold for demonic activity. We have to understand that there are consequences for this sin and fight this evil to its core. Anyway, thanks for sharing your insight. And yes, Fireproof is a good example. He did the right thing in the movie by throwing his computer in the trashcan because he had to separate himself from it. He “starved it”. That’s the way to beat it. Starve it and choke it to death. God bless.
Love this article! Pornogrpahy use is high amoung non Christians and even among Christians. It is important to never “open,” the door to the demonic, and yes porongrapghy is demonic. It is destructive to marriages and to the desexualization of women. It is a trap of the enemy, the enemy says , ” one look won’t hurt.” When someone views pornography they are left with images in their memories that are difficult to forget. The acts in pornography are not what God intended for Godly marriage.
Thank you for sharing this topic, I know so many that have been trapped in this sin. I pray it speaks truth to others that pornography will open the door to the demonic, and the spirit of perversion and pornography will bring a host of other demons such as depression, oppression, and the spirit of suicide. This is no joke, I have personally witnessed this happen to someone dabbling in pornography. It took intercessory prayer warriors and deliverance ministry workers to help. Once this person was free from this sin, the depression, oppression and suicidal thoughts left. Just don’t invite the demons in the first place, because they would love to destroy your life.
