The world is tough enough to listen to all of the garbage and lies that get fed into your soul daily. Trash talk about why you didn’t wear the right pair of jeans or style your hair the only acceptable way. Rubbish words saying your muscles are not the right size or you’re not even fast enough to stay up with the team. Jeez, get it all together would you? That’s what the world of peer pressure says when you are tuning in to hear the wrong kind of encouragement, but to God, you are perfect the way you are, even if you think you are worthless.
There’s no God you say? Or if there is, why would he even bother helping out a loser like you? At least, those seem to be the lies you are munching on lately. Truth is. They’re all lies. Lies from a fallen angel who needs a lot of friends to keep him company, and as long as you are listening and following along with those troublesome peers you hang with, Satan has a whole family of friends to satisfy his darkened soul.
A day is coming fast when Satan’s pals will be no more, and they will all have to kneel before the One who is greater than they. All of us will be held accountable for our actions. Don’t you want to be on the side that wins? That’s what’s most intriguing is that Satan has already read the playbook and he is aware of the outcome (He looses by the way), yet he still continues to play the game.
The falsehoods of the enemy can be heavy and the chains that weigh you down and try to break your soul are nothing God cannot handle.
- He will slay the giants of your life (1 Samuel 17)
- Close the mouths of your enemy (Daniel 6)
- Calm the storms that arise (Matthew 8:23-37)
- Restore you from your lowest point (Psalm 23:3)
To God you are beautiful, strong, bold, and chosen to be an heir to the throne. His everlasting throne. No more bullies. No more “what ifs”. No more “not good enoughs” In Him is enough to satisfy and fill your hungry soul with a love you have never known before, the love of God the Father. “For he is a Father to the fatherless” (Psalm 68:5).
Let not the fear of the enemy continue to bind you to the lies. Break free and enter into hope that can only be found in the love of Jesus Christ. The one who saves. The one who suffered a death you can only imagine just so you can live. It’s a free gift he has chosen to give to you. That is grace. An undeserving gift, but He wants you to have it. All you have to do is receive the gift.
Turn away from the lifestyle you are living. Allow Him to render away the garbage in your life. Turn and follow Him. “For no one comes to the Father except through me. “(John 14:6) He is calling you today. Accept his grace. He is reaching out towards you, but this is a decision that only you can make. What keeps you from accepting God’s gift?
