 An Ode Of Thanks & Praise

In fields of golden harvest, where the sunlight’s warmth does gleam, We lift our hearts in gratitude, for blessings like a dream. For every grain and fruit that grows, in bounty rich and pure, We thank our God, whose endless love, forever will endure.

“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise,” (Psalm 100:4) For every dawn that breaks anew, His love we shall always raise. The morning dew upon the grass, a testament so bright, “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)

With humble hearts, we gather ’round, our voices soft and low, To thank our God for all He gives, His grace in us will flow. For every trial, every joy, each moment’s fleeting glance, We give our thanks, “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

The stars that light the midnight sky, the moon that softly glows, All speak of His majestic hand, His love that overflows. “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork,” (Psalm 19:1) In awe we stand, with grateful hearts, His wonders to discern.

For every prayer that finds its way, upon the wings of grace, We thank our God for hearing us, His comfort and embrace. In joy and sorrow, health and pain, His presence is our guide, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want,” (Psalm 23:1) – in Him we shall abide.

With every breath, with every step, His mercy we proclaim, For He is good, His love endures, forever is His name. “O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever,” (Psalm 136:1) Our hearts are full, our voices raised, in praise of Him we stay.

In times of plenty, times of need, His blessings never cease, We find our strength, our hope, our peace, in Him we find release. “I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth,” (Psalm 34:1) With grateful hearts, we walk in faith, His glory we shout out.

Prayer

“Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today and every day with hearts overflowing with love and praise. We thank You for the countless blessings You bestow upon us each day. For the food we eat, the air we breathe, and the love we share, we give You thanks. Guide us to live with thankful hearts, recognizing Your hand in all aspects of our lives. And we thank You for all who are with us still, and those who are no longer with us but residing with You, please help us grow in spirit and in our faith and fill us with Your peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
