Arise With The Word: An Interview

I had the honor and privilege of conducting an interview with Julia Attipoe, founder of Arise With The Word ministry and YouTube channel.  The ministry seeks to share content that emphasizes the Hebrew names of God into inspirational videos.

What is the name of your ministry and what inspired you to start it?

The name of my ministry is Arise with the Word. I have always been passionate about learning about biblical culture and ancient Israelite/Hebrew culture, so I was inspired to start it to share what I’ve been learning. I post cultural tidbits and bible facts in many of the prayers and community posts. Also, I use the Hebrew names for God (Yahuah) and Jesus (Yahusha HaMashiach) because it reflects my passion for ancient Israelite/Hebrew culture. I continue to share as I learn more.

Another reason why I created this ministry is that it serves as act of worship and praise to Elohim for what he has done in my life. I’m no different than other believers, and I’ve overcome impossible situations by praying and believing the word. I’ve escaped unseen dangers. I’ve bought with no money. I’ve been healed supernaturally. I’ve seen miracle after miracle take place in my life, and I trust Yahuah so much. In the past, whenever I was walking by faith, I felt like I was stepping out into nothing—or like I was stepping out into air and like my foot had nothing to land on. Now, after going through so many trials, I know that there might not be any concrete on the ground when I’m stepping out on faith but before my foot touches down, there will be some pavement there for me to walk on.

Third, this ministry is a way to serve others. The information, prayers, and stories I share are encouraging. I want to uplift people who are experiencing difficult times. Also, I want others to believe in the power of prayer and the power of the word like never before because, a time is coming when all we will have are the word hidden in our hearts, our faith, the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), and prayer. We will need to be able to be like the apostles, walking by faith, leaving with nothing and showing up to our destination with everything we need.

Can you share about your overall mission and who are you trying to reach?

My overall mission is to share inspirational and educational content that helps people rise up out of any circumstance they are facing in life whether it be emotional, social, spiritual, financial, mental, or physical. Also, I want to reach anyone who is at the end of themselves. I want to reach anyone who has become painfully aware of the limitations of their human strength and wants to partner with Yahuah. Additionally, I want to reach those who want to increase their faith and walk in the prophetic and supernatural power we see our spiritual ancestors walking in, in the Bible.

What are some of the challenges in starting this type of ministry?

One main challenge with starting this ministry as with starting any ministry is balancing it with full-time work. It’s very difficult to do that. I find making a schedule and following it helps. Also, as I’m expanding content beyond prayers to include testimonies, it can be very time consuming to interview people and produce a visually appealing product on my own because I am learning about videography, graphic design, etc. as I go along. I hope to hire some people to help soon. Additionally, there’s another huge learning curve with producing educational content related to bible culture and ancient Israelite culture because it is so different from western culture. However, none of these challenges can stop me from doing this ministry. The pros definitely outweigh the cons.

Are there any scriptures that led you to ministry or that inspire you to push forward with it?

This ministry is based on Yeshayahu Isaiah 60:1, “Arise, shine, for your light has come! And the esteem of Yahuah has risen upon you.” As stated previously, my goal is to help people rise up in every aspect of their life whether it’s socially, emotionally, spiritually, financially, mentally, or physically. When I become weary, I think about this scripture, and I feel so happy when I think about how many people I can continue to encourage. That is what keeps me going.

What suggestions could you give to others who are interested in starting, or being involved with, a ministry?

I would say, if anyone is interested in starting a ministry, be consistent and don’t give up. Yahuah will give you strength. Don’t wait too long either. Just start. You have only one life to live. If anyone is interested in being involved in a ministry, he or she should pray about which one to join because there are so many and of course, be sure the ministry aligns with your purpose in life and goals.

What have you found to be the most rewarding aspects of your ministry?

The most rewarding aspect is when someone tells me a prayer helped them get a breakthrough in life. I also enjoy building community by connecting with other believers. I love interviewing people and hearing their amazing testimonies too.

Feel free to share anything else you would like to share with readers.

I just ask others to subscribe to our newsletter which is on our YouTube channel page. YouTube has a habit of changing its rules often and eliminating accounts, so we can always keep in touch offline. I also ask that you subscribe to and turn on notifications for our YouTube channel. Be sure to share our content too because it can be water to a thirsty soul and as Mishlĕ (Proverbs) 11:25 says, “The generous being is enriched, and he who waters is also watered himself.”

_____

Thank you so much Julia for sharing about your ministry. The bible tells us how “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few” (Matthew 9:37), which reminds us of the importance of being involved in ministry. There are many ways to minister to others and it’s inspiring when individuals are able to come up with unique ways to share with others. Not only are we able to labor to lead unbelievers to Christ, but also so that we as believers may strengthen one another. Looking forward to more wondrous content and may God continually bless your ministry!
