Psalm 139:1-4; 13-14; 17(NLT)—1) O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. 2) You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my every thought when far away. 3) You chart the path ahead of me and tell me where to stop and rest. Every moment you know where I am. 4) You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. 13) You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14) Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—and how well I know it. 17) How precious are your thoughts about me, O God! They are innumerable!
Before the beginning of time, God knew our name and what we would look like and the exact time we would be born. He had a specific purpose planned out for each of us; but he gave us free will to choose which plan we followed. God didn’t make any mistakes. We were all created for His pleasure. (Philippians 2:13) He wanted to share all the treasures of Creation with us, and gave us His Word to help teach us how to live in His will. (Do you read the Holy Bible)?
To follow Christ or deny Him is a choice everyone has to make independently. God loves us and wishes for all to be reconciled with Him before we die because we were born separated from Him. Sin separates us. This is why Christ died for us.
