Are You a Follower Or A Leader?

Just as in our Savior’s culture and time,
the desire to be heard still exists in mankind.

The hustle and bustle in this world today
is perceived in many different ways.

Busy trying to go nowhere fast,
leaves us reflecting on our past.

Just a crumb, that’s all Satan needs,
as we show the enemy when we lead.

“A crumb? What do you mean?” you might say.
When not following Jesus, we go off on our way.

As Jesus told the people that day

Mark 8:36
For what shall it profit a man, if He shall
gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
Then why aren’t more following His ways?

One reason is that the light of the church is growing dim.
A lot of the believers’ lights are not shining from within.

If we, His church, have become carnally minded,
then the world does not see through its blindness.

Spiritual blindness is running rampant these days,
and the enemy is the one who is doing it his way.

The question we need to ask ourselves is:
“How similar are our lives compared to His?”

Are we followers of our Savior, because of what He did for us?
Or are we leading (oftentimes by example), others to Jesus?

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

I John 3:17 But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
