Believing With Your Heart

Having gone through tough times in life,
I know You have never left my side.

Brightly shining through each dark place,
all to help me endure this life’s race.

As I look back on what I’ve walked through,
I know I am still here because of You.

The existence of the Three-In-One,
God, Spirit, Son, of all creation.

The Almighty, full of mercy and grace,
is patient while watching us change.

Changes caused by the master of disguise,
have drawn many in with deception and lies.

Lies that have caused many failures,
even our leaders often lose God’s favor.

In the church of Jesus Christ today,
many have walked away from their faith.

Oh, how we, as a country, need to pray,
asking God to show us the way!

Lord, Your unwavering mercy and grace,
have kept our heartitudes in place.

Father, please teach us to believe,
even in things we don’t perceive.

The devil has come in the back door,
watching and waiting to even the score!

We are not worthy of the price He paid,
yet God gave His Son for us on that day.

As we live out our lives serving Christ,
His love for us will always suffice.

We need to leave our sinful lives behind,
and persevere through the strife in our lives.

Strife that is meant only for our good,
even though we don’t do things we should.

2 Corinthians 4:18 Qhile we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are not seen are eternal.

I John 5:10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

She attempted to pursue a medical field, soon after. Realizing that's not where God's plan was for her, she continued following the Lord. In 1985, she married her husband, Rodolfo Delgado (after 38 yrs, is now with the Lord as of September 2023). In August of 2022, she became a Poetry author (Living Poems: From the Father's Heart - Inspirational Poems). She also enjoys sharing God's heart through freelance writing, as well. She is also a member of Faithwriters.com. Linda still enjoys the companionship of two pets, Tina (Chihuahua) and Miss Kitty (Tabby). Their grandson (18) plans on finishing high school next year. Linda hopes to put another book together, as the Lord leads, and is hoping to pursue her interests in writing a memoir. Her writings are concentrated on hearing the heart of God, by encouraging other believers and revealing God's heart for unbelievers.
