“Blessed Are the Pure in Heart”

How do we purify the thoughts in our hearts?
God knows that we can do it from the start.

He knows every fiber of our being
and when we listen to Him with meaning.

Upon the event, when we have accepted Jesus,
that is when God’s purity comes alive within us.

Focusing on our Lord and Savior purifies,
while teaching us to avoid the devil’s lies.

Once our priorities have been put in check,
His character begins to develop from a speck.

A speck as small as a “mustard seed” faith,
as we yield to His Spirit, our lives take shape.

The Holy Spirit begins His work in us,
once we’ve surrendered to His Son, Jesus.

The purity of our hearts is a work in progress,
but we always have help with this lengthy process.

So many things are working to help us endure
and one day we will be blessed to see Him, for sure!

“The pure in heart” is achieved by our perception of God
and He strengthens us to keep pushing past the facades.

All the facades that the world has to offer,
causing us to stumble more, causing us to falter.

Jesus was and still is the purest of all.
The perfect example of serving God.

More qualities of pureness are also included,
and without Jesus, we would feel secluded.

Knowing, as His Word clearly tells us,
none of us are perfect. Only Jesus.

The Lamb of God, without spot or blemish,
bore all our sins and for us, He was punished.

With God’s mercy and grace, He covered our sins,
ensuring us a life forever present with Him!

Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
