From Life’s First Cry to Our Eternal Sky: A Sacred Journey

From the cradle’s tender start,
Where life and love impart,
To the twilight’s gentle bend,
Journey’s edge and heaven’s end.

For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.” (Psalm 139:13)

In youth, the days seem endless, bright,
With dreams that soar like morning’s light,
But years flow swiftly, like a stream,
Aging threads weave life’s grand theme.

The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness.” (Proverbs 16:31)

Through trials, joys, and moments sweet,
We walk life’s path with weary feet,
Yet in each step, a promise kept,
In faith, our souls have safely leapt.

Even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.” (Isaiah 46:4)

When time’s embrace draws near to cease,
We find in Him eternal peace,
For death’s dark veil cannot divide,
The Lord awaits on the other side.

I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.” (John 11:25)

From birth to death and beyond the sky,
With the Lord, we’ll never die,
In His eternal light, we’ll stay,
Forever loved, in endless day.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” (Revelation 21:4)

This life’s brief tale, from start to end,
In Christ, our hearts eternally blend,
Through every trial, joy, and strife,
We find our home in eternal life.

For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth.” (Job 19:25)

“LORD-We come before You with gratitude for the gift of life, from its tender beginnings to its serene end. We thank You for Your unwavering Presence through every stage of our journey. Your word reminds us of Your faithfulness and eternal promises. Lord, as we navigate the seasons of life, may we always find comfort in Your embrace. Guide us with wisdom in our youth, sustain us with strength in our aging, and grant us peace in our final days, knowing that we will dwell in Your house forever. Help us to live each day with the knowledge that our Redeemer lives and that we are ever in Your care. May our lives be a testament to Your grace and love, and may we be ever mindful of the eternal hope we have in Christ Jesus, Amen.”
