God’s Merciful Love

Oftentimes we lose sight of what we have,
as we live our lives on our Lord’s behalf.

“What exactly do I mean by this?” you ask?
We’ve taken for granted our Savior’s tasks.

The gospel at hand is not being taught,
but is being presented as if it were naught.

God, our Creator, could’ve destroyed us,
but He loved us enough to send His Son Jesus.

Knowing the enemy would not waste time,
but very soon his plan would have no rhyme.

So, you see, my friend, please don’t get me wrong,
our Savior, has been watching all along.

He sees our brokenness we go through each day
and how we endure to be with Him someday.

Many don’t see His love for all of us,
not seeing the Truth we’ve found in Jesus.

Although this may be what some are thinking,
one day they will feel their heart instantly sinking.

The world has a wild perception of God’s love,
that all good people will go to Heaven above.

On that day, when Jesus Christ, His Son returns,
all of humankind will be judged each in turn.

Our words, along with the faith we’ve had in us,
will be seen for how they glorified Jesus.

The idea that God only goes by goodness,
is just another form of devilish lewdness.

Matthew 12:36-37  But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they will give account thereof in the day of judgement. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

She attempted to pursue a medical field, soon after. Realizing that's not where God's plan was for her, she continued following the Lord. In August of 2022, she became a Poetry author (Living Poems: From the Father's Heart - Inspirational Poems). She also enjoys sharing God's heart through freelance writing, as well. She is also a member of Faithwriters.com. Linda still enjoys the companionship of two pets, Tina (Chihuahua) and Miss Kitty (Tabby). Their grandson (18) plans on finishing high school next year. Linda hopes to put another book together, as the Lord leads, and is hoping to pursue her interests in writing a memoir. Her writings are concentrated on hearing the heart of God, by encouraging other believers and revealing God's heart to all.
