Here Today & Gone Tomorrow

I could never boast of all You’ve done for me.
Only You, have given me sight that sets me free!

Seeing others through Your Holy Spirit,
I’m able to show that Your love has no limit!

You love all creatures, great and small,
and not a particular one, but for all.

How Your heart must be breaking,
for those whose hearts are aching.

Holy Spirit please draw them in today,
by using Your servants, this day, I pray.

Draw us ever so close to You,
so, we’ll know exactly what to do.

Help us to speak peace from our hearts,
revealing Your love from the very start.

Display our spiritual fruits before Your eyes,
those that bring glory to You and not our pride.

Direct our eyes to look past our own faults,
while showing others that You love us all!

All those that are created by You,
good and bad, who need to see Your Truth.

The condition of our souls should be first
while directing our attention to our newfound birth.

Jesus lived a life filled with sorrow and joy,
what many have spiritually destroyed.

Before being crucified for all our sins,
He approached the Father, from within.

He was first beaten beyond recognition,
all for us, to seal our redemption.

Christ set an example for us to follow, as His believers,
but for some, they’re still following many deceivers.

He’s waiting for your answer to redeem your life
and begin to start freeing you from your strife!

The strife, that for so many years,
has held you in bondage and tears.

Once you accept, He will gladly walk with you,
directing you and showing you just what to do.

We all have heard, life is short, my friend,
but we clearly don’t know when our lives will end.

Do you know where you will spend eternity?
Without Jesus it will not be good to see.

He loves you more than anyone you know,
and He’s faithful to never let you go!

James 4:14   Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow.  For what is your life?  It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

About Linda Delgado

Linda Delgado was born and raised in Springfield, Missouri. She moved down to Corpus Christi, Texas, with her parents, where she graduated from high school in 1977. She attempted to pursue a medical field, soon after. Realizing that's not where God's plan was for her, she continued following the Lord. In 1985, she married her husband, Rodolfo Delgado (after 38 yrs, is now with the Lord as of September 2023). In August of 2022, she became a Poetry author (Living Poems: From the Father's Heart - Inspirational Poems). She also enjoys sharing God's heart through freelance writing, as well. She is also a member of Faithwriters.com. Linda still enjoys the companionship of two pets, Tina (Chihuahua) and Miss Kitty (Tabby). Their grandson (18) plans on finishing high school next year. Linda hopes to put another book together, as the Lord leads, and is hoping to pursue her interests in writing a memoir. Her writings are concentrated on hearing the heart of God, by encouraging other believers and revealing God's heart to all.
