Everywhere we have read in God’s Word,
how He responded to those who had heard.
They’d heard of the encouragement that Jesus gave,
to those He had saved and healed when they came.
As Jesus walked through each town He came to,
the Religious Leaders became more unglued.
Jesus already knew each person’s needs,
but their blind faith kept them in deceit.
Out of all those, who walked with Jesus,
only a few had the faith to believe in Him.
Seeing and believing Him for who He was,
the hearts of their Leader’s looked on in disgust.
Even His disciples struggled to understand,
as Jesus told parables that explained His plans.
As the so-called truth of the law was being unraveled,
Jesus’ Truths were known everywhere they traveled.
Yet among all the commotion that was taking place,
there were still those who declared their faith.
The declaration of their faith was not put into action
until they had caused their faith to be a reaction.
The Canaanite woman and the Centurion’s daughter
made a great sacrifice, like lambs led to be slaughtered.
You see, those that risked their lives, from miles around,
were drawn to Him wherever He could be found.
In today’s world, many faiths are collapsing,
for lack of True Faith and understanding.
Our brothers and sisters in Christ, across the seas,
know exactly what faith is as a mustard seed.
They have learned to believe in every word
and not believing makes our faith seem absurd.
Putting our faith into action should be done daily
as we commit ourselves to trust in Him fully.
Oh, that we could be even more like our Jesus,
for He had the greatest faith of any of us!
Jesus, having placed His full trust in God, the Father,
knew His best was yet to come, without any falter!
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
