Humbly & Completely Loving My King

I kneel before You, Lord, with a humble heart
I confess my sins and ask for Your unmerited grace
I thank you for Your love and Your mercy
I praise you for Your light that shines on my face

You are the Alpha and the Omega
You are the Redeemer and my Friend
You are the King of kings and Lord of lords
And You are the beginning and the end

You are the Holy One and the True God
You are the Way and the Truth and the Life
You are the reason I breathe and I live
You are all I need to be free of any strife

You have promised to never leave me nor forsake me
You have promised to hear me when I call on Your name
You have promised to forgive me when I repent
You have promised to love me and I am not to blame

You have promised to provide for all my needs
You have promised to protect me from all harm
You have promised to heal me from all sickness
You have promised to comfort me and I feel calm

You have promised to give me peace that surpasses understanding
You have promised to give me joy that is unspeakable
You have promised to give me hope that is unshakable
You have promised to give me love that is always reachable

You are faithful and true, Lord, You never change
You are gracious and good, Lord, You never fail
You are Sovereign and wise, Lord, You never make mistakes
You are awesome and wonderful, Lord, you make me sail

I trust in You, Lord, with all my soul
I surrender to You, Lord, with all my heart
I worship You, Lord, with all my strength
I love You, Lord, I’ve been yours from the start

You have called me, Lord, to follow you truly
You have chosen me, Lord, to listen and quietly wait
You have gifted me, Lord with blessings from above
You have equipped me, Lord to know it’s never too late

You have prepared a place for me, Lord, in Your Kingdom
You have reserved a crown for me, Lord, at Your table
You have secured a future for me, Lord, in Your plan
You have promised a return for me, Lord, when you’re able

You are my Shepherd and my Savior, Lord, You lead
You are my Rock and my Refuge, Lord, You shelter me
You are my Strength and my Shield, Lord, my defense
You are my Friend and my Father, Lord, You set me free

You are my Teacher and my Guide, Lord, You instruct
You are my Counselor and my Comforter, Lord, You are mine
You are my Advocate and my Intercessor, Lord, You support
You are my Master and my King, Lord, Your love sublime

You have shown me, Lord, your grace and Your truth
You have taught me, Lord, your word and Your will
You have revealed to me, Lord, Your purpose and Your plan
You have entrusted to me, Lord, You make me still

You have filled me, Lord, with Your Spirit and Your power
You have anointed me, Lord, with Your gifts and Your Oil
You have transformed me, Lord, with your holiness
You have conformed me, Lord, with You I have no more soil

You are my everything, Lord, You fill my heart
You are my everything, Lord, You are my pleasure
You are my desire, Lord, You are my delight
You are my love, Lord, You are my life and my treasure…

Luke 10:27 -And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

  1. I thank the Lord that He fills us with abundant blessings to give exuberance expressions as you have. It’s like a cup of refreshing water gushing forth from the heart and overflowing with praise and gratitude refreshing our soul.
It is evident in the lives of those who look into His words and come to the knowledge of who He is. This is the beginning of wisdom and it’s the necessity for our meaning to exist.
I heard this statement on BBN radio this morning that I want to share. Someone remarked that there won’t be anything manmade in Heaven when we get there but a little child said that he knew that there was something that would be there. Surprised by the child’s response he asked what it would be and the child said the nail prints in Jesus hands.
A wise answer indeed! It was the response that man showed to our Savior when He laid His life down for us. He allowed it so that He could bring us back to Himself.
Praise The Lord; what a Savior!
