In The Shelter Of His Wings We Find Peace

In the Shelter of His Wings

In the secret place of the Most High,
Where shadows of the Almighty lie,
I find my refuge, my fortress strong,
In His embrace, where I belong.

He delivers me from snares unseen,
From pestilence that stalks the green.
With feathers soft, He covers me,
Under His wings, I am set free.

His truth, my shield and buckler bright,
Dispels the fears of darkest night.
No terror by night, nor arrow by day,
Can steal my peace or lead me astray.

A thousand may fall at my side,
Ten thousand more, yet I abide.
For His promise keeps me safe and sound,
In His love, my fears are drowned.

No evil shall befall my way,
No plague come near, by night or day.
For angels guard me, lift me high,
Lest I stumble, lest I sigh.

Upon the lion and adder tread,
With strength and courage, I am led.
The dragon’s might, I shall defy,
For in His power, I rely.

Because I love Him, He rescues me,
Sets me on high, where I can see.
In trouble, He is ever near,
His voice, a whisper I hold dear.

He answers when I call His name,
In His presence, I am the same.
With long life, He satisfies,
Shows me salvation, where hope lies.

In the shelter of His wings, I rest,
In His love, I am truly blessed.
For He is my refuge, my fortress strong,
In His embrace, where I belong.

Psalm 91:4-He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

“Dear Lord, we ask that You continue to be our refuge and fortress, shielding us from all harm and guiding us through life’s challenges. May Your truth be our shield and buckler, and may we always find comfort under Your wings. Grant us the courage to face each day without fear, knowing that Your angels are watching over us. Help us to trust in Your promises and to call upon Your name in times of trouble. Satisfy us with long life and show us Your salvation, that we may glorify Your name forever. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.”
