Just Remember Who God Is

If you have hurts and past regrets,
and you have been cast down.

Just remember, God’s in charge,
and there’s no need to frown.

If you’ve been broken and abused,
you’re falling all apart,

Just remember, God loves you,
and you are on His heart.

If you’ve been kicked and trodden down;
you can’t get up and stand.

Just remember, by God’s grace,
that you can grab His hand.

If you have been depressed and sad,
and wonder where God is,

Just remember, He is near,
and you are one of His.

If you are one who needs some help,
you think there’s no way out,

Just remember to read God’s Word,
to help remove all doubt.

And then you’ll understand and see,
when things are hard and blue

Just remember, you are loved.
By God’s grace, He loves you.

Psalm 72:12-13 God delivers the needy when he calls, the poor and him who has no helper. He has pity on the weak and the needy, and saves the lives of the needy.

What kind of needs do you have in your life at this moment? Are they physical needs of healing, or emotional wounds in need of counseling, or spiritual doubts about your faith, or a marriage in need of restoration? Seek God’s wisdom and strength, and He can give you His presence, peace, and an outstretched arm of His grace that can pull you up or out of whatever you are dealing with.
