Kingdom Living: Forgiving Others

There is a desperate need for Jesus,
in this chaotic world around us.

As believers, we have become so focused,
that we’re losing sight of what’s important.

Knowing we’re born into a sinful life,
our minds are often vulnerable at a price.

Should we choose the opposite of Him,
we gradually begin dying from within.

The price that Jesus gave for us that day,
is being expressed in non-Biblical ways.

Would God be pleased with these half-truths?
All followers of Christ know that’s not true!

Though the experiences that cross our paths,
our Lord knows will not all be easy tasks.

There is nothing that can be hidden from God,
He even knows where His angels have trod.

Our Father knows us from beginning to end.
If we are in Christ, the enemy cannot win!

Depending on the trials that assess our faith,
will conclude where we will be on that day.

If buried unforgiveness is within us,
our hearts will affect how we hear Jesus!

God’s Word speaks about this topic,
many times, He is very explicit.

It can be explained no other way,
as Jesus was crucified for us that day.

In His Holy Word, He has clearly proclaimed,
“Forgiveness is given to us, now we do the same.”

Yet so many are still harboring unforgiveness,
knowing that God, will withhold our forgiveness.

For us to receive His forgiveness on the cross,
we must be willing to forgive others who are lost.

If we’re unable to follow through with His command,
then our own lives will be as if we’re on sinking sand.

Forgiveness isn’t just a command for us to obey,
but helps us stay focused on Him through each day.

Knowing that Jesus Christ’s return is not far away,
this is the best time to search our hearts and pray.

Praying with an attitude of His saving grace,
submitting our hearts to Him every day.

Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart: Try me, and know my thoughts:  And see if there be any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.

Ephesians 4:32  And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
