In this crazy world we live in,
it seems popular to live in sin.
Whoever was at fault is never known,
because we’re too busy blaming our own.
Yet God’s Word clearly states how to live,
a life that is pleasing unto Him.
The church today has gone astray.
What has happened in our day and age?
We have continuously taken it upon ourselves,
not realizing that division is at the helm.
“Divide and conquer!”, some may say,
but that’s not God’s intended way.
Jesus is coming for a unified bride,
not one that is puffed up with pride.
Oftentimes we make the mistake,
without realizing what is at stake!
Divisions of this and that, or the other,
is only putting brother against brother!
God’s heart desires for us to work together,
not competing to see who’s better!
Even Jesus desires us to be one
and He knows there’s a lot to be done!
The Father is “cleaning house” as they say,
our hearts should be reflecting Jesus as the way.
The only thing that will prevent descension,
is for the church to have the same vision!
God does not have us here to please the world,
but to place our trust in Him, as His plan still unfurls!
Oh church, come together as one today,
before it’s time for Jesus to take us away!
Luke 11:17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.
Hello Linda,
Such beautiful words and resounding truths!
Thank you.
God Bless~
We are no different than the wayward
by such behavior
Those who choose independent
Instead of repentance
May have a heart of arrogance and pride
Which momentarily may satisfy
But with ourselves, we will be abhorred
When we stand before our Lord!
Loved your subject matter and exposition of the ways of mankind walking in their own righteousness.
It paints an ugly image of the faith they profess so that the beauty of Christ that is suppose to be in their life is hidden. The world can detect the indifference of their claim of being a new person in Christ. How we can foolishly focus on the wrong things when Christ should be the subject that matters.
