Overcoming With His Compassion

The compassion that God has for us today,
is shown through His believers, in so many ways.

The Truth of God’s love needs to rise up,
but that cannot happen till we trust Jesus.

Trusting Jesus is found within every believer,
but many choose to believe the deceiver.

Some may feel that their love is enough,
but God’s word speaks differently, revealing His love.

His compassion speaks of His mercy and grace,
which is what we need to finish this race!

The race Paul speaks of in God’s Word,*
showing us what the race in this life is for.

Giving all the glory to God and Him alone,
is reaching our goal when we are Home.

God’s mercy and grace, is eternal, even today,
but His church needs to show others the way.

His longsuffering is seen throughout this land,
yet there are still others that don’t understand.

Unfortunately, fear has crept its way in,
living in the hearts of others in sin.

So many religions have denied His arrival
and yet they give more credit to their rival.

To this very day, God’s mercy lives on,
but the world is blinded by their own songs.

The songs that reveal what’s in their part,
ignoring the fact that it’s not in God’s heart.

Their minds are so clouded with their blindness,
that they don’t see His mercy and kindness.

God’s compassion should be seen through us,
as His firm believers in our Savior, Jesus.

Jesus is preparing His church for His rapturous return,
but there are still areas in which we haven’t learned.

When is the last time we obeyed His request,
in asking us to show others His kindness?

We need to see others with His perception.
He died for others, without any exceptions!

Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

Philippians 2:3-4 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

She is also a member of Faithwriters.com. Linda still enjoys the companionship of two pets, Tina (Chihuahua) and Miss Kitty (Tabby). Their grandson (18) plans on finishing high school next year. Linda hopes to put another book together, as the Lord leads, and is hoping to pursue her interests in writing a memoir. Her writings are concentrated on hearing the heart of God, by encouraging other believers and revealing God's heart to all.
