Things That Will Not Change – A Poem

Some things in life just will not change, no matter what we do. It’s in those times that we must say, “To God alone be true.”

We know sometimes that things aren’t right. We ask and seek and pray. But as we do that, we must want for God to show his way.

Some situations will not change the way that seems the best. But in those times, we need to know we’re going through a test.

A test of faith and test of love, to simply let things go. And in God’s time and by his grace, we’ll see why he said “No.”

We must accept things as they are, and trust God for the best. We must believe we’ve done our part, and he will do the rest.

And there are times when things don’t go the way we want them to. We get discouraged and depressed, there’s nothing we can do.

We know God loves and cares for us, his word we must obey. We first must learn to follow him and let him lead the way.

God says to us that through all this there’s something we must know. Sometimes change does not occur in order that we’ll grow.

We’ll grow to love and honor God, no matter what may be. And some things may not ever change, but we’ll be on our knees.

We must accept things as they are. At times that may mean loss. But when there is no change at all, just bow before the cross.

Thank God that he was born for us, in a little manger. That even if our things don’t change, he is our life-changer.

James 1:12 Blessed is the one who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
