God’s Divine Intervention Overruled The Evil Against Trump

After being released from the hospital, Donald Trump posted this statement: “Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers yesterday, as it was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening. We will FEAR NOT, but instead remain resilient in our Faith and Defiant in the face of wickedness…In the moment, it is more important than ever that we stand United, and show our true character as Americans, remaining Strong and Determined, and not allowing evil to win.” This is the mindset that we all need to have at this time in our culture.

Several Bible verses, among many, address this. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self control.”  “The fear of man lays a snare, but whosoever trusts in the Lord is safe”(Proverbs 29:25). Joshua 1:9 states, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”  Psalm 46:1 says, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

America has lost its moral and spiritual footing. Some liberals have called for Trump to be taken out. This is not the country I grew up in. Today, some very evil people would rather use a gun than sit down and talk out differences. If a person doesn’t like someone, for any reason, they just want to get rid of them. It is a sad day in the world! So-called “mature adults” don’t want to have constructive conversations. They choose rather to allow differences to turn into hatred, and hatred into murder. This, of course, is not true of the vast majority of people, but it takes only a small minority to cause all the problems, and just one person to pull a trigger. Those who choose to believe that guns are the problem just don’t get it, period!

Human nature control is the problem. When I was growing up there were no gun control laws, but also mass shootings were extremely rare. Jeremiah 17:9 says, “The human heart is deceitful above all things and desperately sick, who can know it?” And in the last days before Jesus returns “evil people and imposters will go on from bad to worse…” (2 Timothy 3:13).

America and the world need God’s grace more than ever. Only through his love and grace will the human heart be transformed. Titus 2:11 says, “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this present age.”

In spite of all the evil, God intervened! One will observe in the videos of this incident that Trump turned his head at the time of the shot. Israeli Special Operations veteran, Aaron Cohen, put it this way: “It’s very clear to me that had the president’s head been straight and if that round had gone into the ear, it would have been lights out. The fact that he just happened to be turned this way with that shot coming is what saved his life.” Cohen added, “God must have been watching down on the president.”

What is happening in our world with all this evil is very sad, but at the same time it is very exciting to see God intervene.

  1. Amen! Keep up the good work.

  2. To attempt murder is a cowardly and evil action no matter what side of the fence, politically.
