Trump’s Victory In The Midst Of A Culture Gone Mad

At the age of 75 I have witnessed over 15 presidential elections. I have never seen so much hatred, name-calling, deception, and assassination attempts on a candidate, not to mention what Trump went through over the previous four years. It is a literal miracle that he is still among us. All the ways some have tried to stop him from becoming president have failed. He was protected by God and “untouchable,” to use a term expressed by a particular group of evil witches. The U.S. election was a reflection of the woke and cancel culture, where some would rather just silence those who disagree instead of seeking to understand one another. However, one reason Trump won, in the words of a television commentator, was because “people are fed up with the left calling the shots.” Well said!

There was also a spiritual battle between the forces of good and evil, but God is greater.  1 John 4:4 says, “Greater is He than he that is in the world.”  So, in the midst of all the hatred, satanic activity, and corruption in voting, God accomplished his purpose and Trump won the election. Even the leaders of Iran wanted Trump gone, but “The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; he frustrates the plans of the people”(Psalm 33:10).

The importance of prayer cannot be overlooked. Millions of Christians in the U.S were praying for Trump’s safety and for the election.  Also, the Jews in Israel held a prayer vigil for the election.

Only God knows the heart and soul of Trump as to whether he is a Christian, but one thing for sure is that he has, on more than one occasion, stated that God spared his life and has seen the hand of God leading him to where he is now. “God looks down from heaven on the children of man to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God” (Psalm 53:2).

The election of Donald Trump is a huge step in not only bringing back some sanity and common sense leadership, but in returning America to the God and faith of its founding fathers in 1776. “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord…” (Psalm 33:12).

Trump’s win was also a benefit to Israel because of his strong support of this nation. He has been the most pro-Israel of any president, including declaring Jerusalem the capitol of Israel. Could it be that this is another reason why Trump won the election? Genesis 12:3 says, “He who blesses Israel will be blessed, and who curses Israel will be cursed.” Did God bless Trump by giving him back the White House?  Something to think about.

We must continue to pray for President Trump up until the January 20th inauguration because there are those who still seek to keep him from taking office. Not only that, on the day I wrote this article a third assassination plot was uncovered. But, again, we will see God’s hand at work.
