Cat Versus Dog Rap Battle

Sometimes we can learn lessons from the simpliest and even silliest of things. So here is my attempt at a rap battle between Cosmo Cat and Danger Dog. I don’t know if these characters exist anywhere else, so if they do, then I offer my sincerest apologies. Hope you enjoy.

Danger Dog:

Yo Cat, get out of my way!

I’m the king of this block and I’m here to stay.

I don’t like cats, and I don’t like you.

Now get of my way cat. That means shoo!

Cosmo Cat:

Hey dog, I’m a cool cat and I have something to say,

I was here first and I intend to stay.

You don’t like me, but I don’t like you as well,

Dogs are dumb and most of them smell.

Danger Dog:

Hey cat, this means war!

Better leave now or I’m going to knock you to the floor.

You think you’re cooler than me, but it just isn’t so.

I run this block and I’m the star of the show.

Cosmo Cat:

Listen up dog, I’m going to stand my ground,

I have sharp claws and I’m about to send you to the pound.

You can’t bully me because I won’t let you.

Buzz off dog! You’re the one who needs to shoo!

Danger Dog:

Wait one minute there cat; I just had a thought,

What will our owners think after we’ve fought?

Maybe we should be friends and share this street.

Back to you cat, now kick the beat!

Cosmo Cat:

Woah dog, your words and rhythm are blowing my mind,

I agree with you and some common ground we should find.

We can share this block and regulate with peaceful law.

Now come here dog and gimme some paw.

Danger Dog:

Thank you cat for understanding my point.

Cosmo Cat:

Right on dog! Now let’s blow this joint!

Final Thought

Sometimes it’s easy to disagree even when we have much in common with someone else. Danger Dog and Cosmo Cat, both have four paws, a tail, and a desire for rhythm and rhyme. Most importantly, they both share the same creator, just as everything that exists has the same Creator. All mankind originated from the same loving God and even though we are different in many ways, we are also the same in the way that matters most. We were all created with purpose. Purpose to love God and love one another (Matt 22:36-40). We don’t always align ourselves with that purpose, and sometimes it may be nearly impossible. Just remember, love is meant to be combined with faith and hope (1 Cor 13:12-13). So even when it’s difficult to love someone, just have hope in that person and faith that God can bring healing where it is needed. Thank you for reading and God bless.

Matt 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

What is something you can change about yourself so that you can live more peacefully with others?
