The Heavens Will Display The Glory Of God

“O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth. You have set your glory above the heavens”(Psalm 8:1). In April of 2024, God will put his heavenly creation on display. Besides the “Great American Solar Eclipse” on April 8, there will be other spectacular sightings in the sky.

It will begin on April 4th when four other planets will begin alignment. On April 3rd there will be a conjunction of Venus and Neptune. Then on April 10th a conjunction of Mars and Saturn. Jupiter and Uranus will conjoin on April 20th. Last, will be a conjunction of Mars and Neptune on April 29th.

Now, here’s the really big event! on April 8th, the same day as the solar eclipse, the sun, moon, and seven planets will form a straight line in the heavens. For more detailed information about these cosmic events click here:

There is no apparent spiritual or prophetic significance to these heavenly displays other than in the last days there will be “signs in the sun, moon, and stars”(Luke 21:25).

There will be a message for non-believers who deny the existence of God. Romans 1:18-20 says, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.”

Jeremiah 32:17 says, “Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.” Of the seven planets that will form a straight line, Neptune is the farthest away from earth at a distance of almost 3 billion miles! God’s outstretched arm reaches that far and beyond. In the midst of this vast universe, God sent his Son, Jesus, to be the Savior of humanity and each individual person. Have you accepted Jesus to be your Savior?

As you and I look to the heavens during the month of April, may it be a reminder of how much God loves us, and cares about us. “When I look to the heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and stars which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the sun of man that you care for him? (Psalm 8:3).

Have a great month of April gazing up at God’s creation and light display! And be mindful that “every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation nor shadow due to change” (James 1:17).
