Acts 1:10-11

使徒行传 1：10-11

10 And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, 11 and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”

10 耶稣去的时候，他们正望天，不料，有两个身穿白袍的人站在旁边， 11 说：“加利利人哪，你们为什么站着望天呢？ 这位离开你们被接升天的耶稣，你们见他怎样升天，也要怎样降临。”

We Have A Job To Do

我们有工作要做

Jesus had gone, the disciples were left alone.

耶稣走了，只剩下门徒了。

They had been promised the Holy Spirit to empower them, but it had not yet come.

他们曾被应许圣灵赐给他们能力，但它还没有到来。

They were sad obviously that Jesus had left them, but the angels asked them and asks us:

显然，他们为耶稣离开他们而难过，但天使问他们并问我们：

Why are you gazing into heaven?

你为什么要仰望天堂？

As believers, we have a job to do. Jesus is coming back and our job to share the gospel and to proclaim it to the whole world.

作为信徒，我们有工作要做。 耶稣要回来了，我们的工作就是分享福音并向全世界宣讲。

We are to look for his glorious appearing, but also, we are not to waste any time, simply gazing into thin air and wasting our time on trivial things that don’t matter.

我们要寻求他荣耀的显现，但我们也不要浪费时间，只是凝视稀薄的空气，把我们的时间浪费在无关紧要的琐事上。

Jesus will come again, let it be our aim to bring as many with us as we able.

耶稣会再来，让我们定意于让尽可能多的人与我们同在。

Share the gospel, this should and has to be our main purpose for living.

分享福音，这应该也必须是我们生活的主要目的。

Let’s make sure we don’t gaze at worthless things and focus on our main job.

让我们确保我们不盯着毫无价值的东西，专注于我们的主要工作
