Jesus The Thirst Quencher

John 7

37 Now on the last and most important day of the feast, Jesus stood and called out [in a loud voice], “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink! 38 He who believes in Me[who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Me], as the Scripture has said, ‘From his innermost being will flow continually rivers of living water.’”39 But He was speaking of the [Holy] Spirit, whom those who believed in Him [as Saviour] were to receive afterward. The Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified (raised to honour) Amplified Bible.

37 节期最后一天，也是整个节期的高潮，耶稣站起来高声说：“人若渴了，可以到我这里来喝。 38 正如圣经所言，信我的人，‘从他里面要流出活水的江河来’。” 39 耶稣这话是指信祂的人要得到圣灵，但当时圣灵还没有降临，因为耶稣还没有得到荣耀。

What an offer by Jesus. People are so thirsty, Amen. It was the last day of the feast and Jesus stands up and says this amazing statement of truth.
耶稣所给出的是多么美好，阿门！这是节期的最后一天，耶稣站起，陈述这奇异的真理！

People are desperate in today’s society, they are thirsting for meaning, and Jesus provides the water they so desperately need.
如今社会的人们如此绝望，他们渴望意义，耶稣提供他们所极度需要的活水。

Not only does He quench people’s thirst, but when He does, the person whose thirst is quenched, goes on the pour out this living water to everyone he/she meets.
不仅是他止住了人们的饥渴，更是他何时，如何做此工。得恩典之人，会将这生命活水流出至周围人中。

The Holy Spirit is the indwelling power that is in the Christian, and this power flows out of them and affects everyone they come into contact with.
圣灵是基督徒内住的力量，这力量流出去影响基督徒所接触的每个人。

I have four questions
我有四个问题

Have you accepted the offer of Jesus ?
你已经接受耶稣所给的了吗？

Have you come to Jesus and drunk of the water of life ?
你来到耶稣这里，饮用生命活水了吗？

If you have, is living water flowing out of you ?
如果是，生命活水从你里头涌出了吗？

Today have you given someone a taste of that living water by your words or your life ?
今天，你有通过你生命，给你周围某个人尝到生命活水的味道吗？

You will reap bountifully if you have.
如果有，你将会收获颇丰。
