Knowing & Kneeling (Chinese/English)

DANIEL 6:8-10-Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not. Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree. Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

但以理书 6:8-10 .王阿，现在求你立这禁令，加盖玉玺，使禁令决不更改，照玛代和波斯人的例，是不可更改的。 于是大利乌王立这禁令，加盖玉玺。但以理知道这禁令盖了玉玺，就到自己家里，（他楼上的窗户，开向耶路撒冷）一日三次，双膝跪在他上帝面前，祷告感谢，与素常一样。

知道与下跪

Let me give you the scenario here, the writing of the King had come into effect, you couldn’t pray for thirty days and if you do, you will put in a den of lions and not just any den of lions, these are the Kings lions.

让我给你们一个场景，国王的诏书生效了，你不能在30天内祈祷，如果你祈祷了，你就会在狮子洞里，不是随便的狮子洞，这些是国王的狮子。

Surely Daniel could have stopped praying in his house, it’s only thirty days after all. He could have prayed quietly in his heart, surely, he didn’t have to make a big deal out of this.

但以理当然可以停止在他家里祈祷，毕竟只有三十天。他本可以在心里安静地祈祷，当然，他不必为此大惊小怪。

But No-Daniel’s reaction in knowing what was going to happen was to kneel before God. What he knew didn’t stop him from kneeling before God in prayer, indeed it made him more passionate in prayer.

但是不，但以理知道将要发生的事情后，他的反应是跪在上帝面前。他所知道的一切并没有阻止他跪在上帝面前祈祷，反而使他在祈祷中更加热情。

I wonder what yours and my reaction would have been, probably it wouldn’t have been the reaction of Daniel. He knew the consequences, but like Peter and John in Acts 4, he and they had to obey God rather than man.

我想知道你我的反应会是什么，可能不会是但以理的反应。他知道后果，但就像使徒行传第4章中的彼得和约翰，他和他们必须服从上帝而不是人。

Would it make any difference to your prayer life believer if they were a command from your government to stop all prayer?

如果你的政府命令你停止所有的祷告，你的祷告生活信徒会有什么不同吗?

What if they said you had to stop going to go to church on Sunday or if you were stopped from sharing the gospel?

如果他们说你必须停止在星期天去教堂，或者如果你被阻止分享福音，你会怎样？

Would it make any difference?

这有什么区别呢？

It wouldn’t in millions of Christians lives because they don’t pray, don’t go to church or share the gospel?

它不会影响数百万基督徒的生活，因为他们不祈祷，不去教堂，不分享福音？

If you knew what Daniel knew, what would you do? It’s not how much we know, it’s how much we kneel that matters.

如果你知道但以理知道的事，你会怎么做？重要的不是我们知道多少，而是我们跪了多少。
