1. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:

当称谢耶和华！歌颂你至高者的名！

2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night.

用十弦的乐器和瑟，用琴弹幽雅的声音，早晨传扬你的慈爱；每夜传扬你的信实。这本为美事。

MORNING AND EVENING PRAISE

早晨和晚上的敬拜赞美

What’s the first thing you do in the morning and the last thing you do at night?

你早上做的第一件事和晚上做的最后一件事是什么？

First of all, it’s good to thank God and to sing praises to Him. We would be in better health if we were more thankful for what we have instead of moaning all the time; look where moaning and ungratefulness got the children of Israel; they died in the wilderness.

首先，感谢上帝并歌唱赞美他本是合宜的。如果我们更多感激我们所拥有的，而不是一直抱怨，我们的健康状况会更好；看看抱怨和忘恩负义的出埃及地以色列人吧；他们死在了旷野中。

Why are we to praise, to shew forth God’s loving-kindness to us, for protection during the night, and to say, “this is a new day, and I am glad that I have another day to serve and worship God.”

为什么我们要赞美上帝？为要显示上帝对于我们的慈爱，在夜间保护我们，并说：“这是新的一天，我很高兴我有新的一天可以来侍奉和敬拜上帝。”

In the evening, we praise and thank God for his faithfulness throughout the day, so often, God does little things for us. We find a good bargain at the supermarket; we are blessed in so many ways. God does so much for us, over and over. He is faithful to us, we have maybe taken Him for granted for many hours, but his faithfulness endures.

在晚上，我们为着上帝这一整天自始至终的信实而赞美并感谢他，上帝常常为我们做一些小事；例如我们在超市找到了不错的打折商品。我们在很多方面都被祝福。上帝一次又一次地为我们做了那么多。他对我们是忠实的，许多时候我们可能已经认为他是理所当然的，但他的信实长存。

Praise and give thanks to him every morning, for another day of opportunity to serve Him and then at night, thank Him for all the blessings you have received throughout the day.

每天早上赞美和感谢他，为的是又一天有机会侍奉他，然后在晚上感谢他，感谢你一整天所得到的所有祝福。
