The Letter H – Holy Humility-Having The Same View God Has Of You

Humility is having God’s opinion of ourselves. So what is God’s opinion of us?

He knows we have a short life span.

Psalm 103 says this:
诗篇103篇这样说:

14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

God knows that we are here today and gone tomorrow, he knows that we live for a short time and we go back to the dust. But know this, believer! Although he knows our lifespan, he still loves us and has given us eternal life through his Son I John 5.
上帝知道我们今天在这里，明天就走了，他知道我们活着的时间很短，我们会回到尘土中。但是信徒们，请记住！虽然他知道我们的寿命，他仍然爱我们，并通过他的儿子（约翰一书5章）给了我们永恒的生命。

He knows we are Sinners.

Romans 3

(Ephesians 2:5-6)

We are sons and daughters, dependent on daddy for everything.

神为我们提供了一切，他是我们的供应者，我们的维持者，我们生命的赐予者。God provides everything for us, he is our provider, our sustainer and our life giver.

He knows we are servants

Luke 17

10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

You shared the gospel with your family members?

We often feel proud, oh we shared the gospel, we have done nothing that wasn’t our duty to do.

He knows our salvation is all of Him

以弗所书2
Ephesians 2

你们得救本乎恩，也因着信。
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

这并不是出于自己，乃是神所赐的。不是出于行为，免得有人自夸。我们的救恩没有什么可夸耀的，因为这与我们无关。
Our salvation is nothing to boast about, because it is nothing to do with us.

哥林多后书12章
2 Corinthians 12

9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.

所以我宁可夸自己的软弱，叫基督的大能常在我身上。
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

所以我为基督的缘故，就以软弱、凌辱、急难、逼迫、困苦为可喜乐的。因为我什么时候软弱，什么时候就刚强了。
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

当我们为基督受苦时，这是我们的特权，我们不能说，看看我们，我们是不是很了不起，看看我为福音所经历的苦难。
When we suffer for Christ, which is our privilege, we are not to say, look at us, aren’t we amazing, look at the suffering I’m going through for the gospel.

No, we see suffering as God’s tool to refine and sanctify us.

所以我们所做的一切，我们的所是，都与神对我们的看法一致。
So, in everything we do and are, we are agree with God view of us:

我们就像尘土
That we are as dust

我们是有罪的罪人
That we are guilty sinners

我们是蒙救赎的儿女，凡事倚靠天父。
That we are redeemed sons and daughters, dependent on our Father for everything.

我们是无用的仆人。
That we are unworthy servants.

我们完全被上帝救赎了
That we are redeemed completely by God

我们有特权为基督受苦。
That we are privileged to suffer for Christ.

我们没有什么值得骄傲的，我们什么都不是。
We have nothing at all to be proud of, we are nothing.

没有上帝，我们什么也做不了。
Without God, we can do nothing.

一旦我们对自己有了这样的认识，上帝就可以使用我们了。
Once, we have that view of ourselves, God can use us.

他可以也会使用一个完全谦卑、完全依赖他的人。
He can and will use a person, who is completely humble and dependent on Him and him alone.

这才是真正神圣的谦卑。
That is true Holy Humility
