Walking Through The Wilderness (Chinese/English)

DEUT 2:7–For the Lord thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the Lord thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.

申命记2章:7-因为耶和华－你的　神在你手里所办的一切事上已赐福与你。你走这大旷野，他都知道了。这四十年，耶和华－你的　神常与你同在，故此你一无所缺。

Walking Through The Wilderness

 To journey from Egypt to the Promised Land takes less than a year, but for the children of Israel it took more than 40 years as a result of their disobedience.  In the book of Deuteronomy, Moses is careful to remind them of the high price of their disobedience, and to call them to remember the commandments and statues of the Lord, as they go in to possess the land of Canaan.  The lesson for us is clear:  disobedience is expensive, and most of us cannot afford to pay its price.   As some of us have had to walk through our own personal wilderness, we can testify that God was with us the whole time.  And it is through our “wilderness experiences” that we learn about the need to remain steadfast in our faith and conduct as believers.  

从埃及到应许之地只需要不到一年的时间，但是对于以色列人来说，因为他们的悖逆，他们花了40多年的时间。在《申命记》中，摩西小心翼翼地提醒他们，他们的悖逆将付出高昂的代价，并号召他们在进入迦南地得为业时记住上帝的诫命和神像。这给我们的教训很清楚:不服从是代价高昂的，而我们大多数人无法承担它的代价。就像我们中的一些人不得不走过自己的荒野一样，我们可以证明上帝一直与我们同在。正是通过我们的“荒野经历”，我们了解到作为信徒，需要坚定地持守我们的信仰和行为。

 Although God punished Israel by causing them to go through the wilderness for 40 years, He also performed many great miracles among them during their journey.  And just like God led Israel through the wilderness, He is there to lead us as well.  Going through the wilderness is not abandonment by God, it is His way of training our hearts to be true to Him, so that we can be fit to inherit the blessing He has in store for us.  It can also be a time of great communion in which you draw nearer to God than ever before.  

虽然神罚以色列人在旷野行走四十年，但在他们行路的路上，又在他们中间行了许多大神迹。就像神带领以色列人走过旷野一样，他也会在那里引导我们。在旷野中行走并不是神的弃绝，这是他训练我们的心忠实于他的方式，这样我们就能承受他为我们所预备的福气。它也可以是一个伟大的交流的时间，你比以往任何时候都更接近上帝。

 Finally, our wilderness experience can be a time of God’s greatest provision. The children of Israel lacked nothing; God provided for nearly 2 million people every day.  And He will provide for you.  

最后，我们在旷野的经历可以成为神最大的供应。以色列人一无所缺。神每天供应将近200万人。他会供养你的。
